Founded in 2022, LaGrange County Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that believes in promoting, presenting, and supporting literary, visual, musical, and theatrical performance arts by residents of LaGrange County.

LaGrange County Arts offers opportunities for the community to present
artistic creation and expression through collaboration, shared experiences, and learning opportunities involving professional artists.

KARI LIPSCOMB

Kari Lipscomb joined the Board of Directors of LaGrange County Arts, Inc. in 2024 and became its President on August 1, 2025, driven by a passion for the arts and a deep commitment to her community. With a background in customer service and nonprofit leadership, Kari previously served as President of Reason 4 Hope, Inc. and held key roles in Tri Kappa Mu Chapter, including Vice President and Treasurer. As the owner of She Snapped Photography, Kari is an accomplished event and portrait photographer, blending her creativity with entrepreneurship. A 1998 graduate of Lakeland High School, Kari is married to her high school sweetheart, Bill. When she's not leading arts initiatives, she enjoys road trips to Upper Michigan or quick jaunts to Chicago in search of the best tacos.

Mary Woodworth

A lifelong resident of LaGrange, Indiana, Mary Woodworth has been a key figure in shaping the local arts community. As a founding member of LaGrange County Arts in 2022, and its President until stepping into the role of Executive Advisor in August 2025, extending her legacy of creativity.
Mary is a 1975 graduate of Lakeland High School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Art Education from Mount St. Joseph University in 1979 and has been a professional artist since 1977. She spent 33 years teaching elementary art at Lakeland School Corporation, earning her Master’s Degree in Art Education from the University of St. Francis in 1989.
Beyond her work in the classroom and arts organization, Mary has had a lasting impact on LaGrange’s cultural scene and generations of students. These days, she enjoys road trips, church services, ice cream, and strolling through her hometown, where she’s often greeted by the friendly faces of friends, neighbors, and former students.
